Testing direction

Rated Means Rated

Rated Means Rated is the channel's practical testing standard: if a piece of equipment is sold with a power rating, surge claim, or operating promise, it should be able to do that job under real load and for more than a few seconds in ideal conditions.

The goal is not lab theater. The goal is to show what hardware actually does when it is hot, loaded, wired into a real system, and asked to keep working.

What it includes

Sustained output, surge behavior, thermal performance, communications, fault handling, recovery behavior, and whether the hardware keeps doing the job when the setup stops being flattering.
